Sorry, but i did not like the way it was done. I enjoy satire but this is too over the top with making the JWs look like pompous idiots. I doubt an interested person would sit through it... i had to struggle to myself...

To me, that does not look like a "report', rather, the WBTS appealing to the U.N to help with the problems to do with restrictions/persecution in Egypt.
History shows they have never shied away from getting governments and agencies to grant them freedoms. And in reality, like it or not, they have secured religious freedoms for many non witnesses by default on the way.

Surely the media will report more as it unfolds and the main question will be answered...
that of the disowning of the child. true or false?
Let us not be the ones to perpetuate an untrue story, rather wait till all is confirmed or not. If we help spread this story and it turns out to be untrue then all that we achieve is deminishing our own credibility surely.

Number of bible students in 1914
by Truthexplorer inhaving read last weeks wt, i was a little stunned to say the least at the number of bible students in 1914. all this time, i had assumed there was probably in the region of a few hundred thousand worldwide at that time, particularly as they had been about since the 1870's.

was anyone else stunned to discover there was only about '5100' in 1914. te.

I think in 1918 there were only 3800. The below link was some research i did a while ago on the numbers each 10 years.
all were sourced from their own litrature. We know a lot left when rutherford did his dirty takeover which would be why the figure had dropped.
